The Wisconsin Dells Chula Vista Resort includes incredible indoor and outdoor water parks with more than 26 water slides. In this section, we will focus on the outdoor component of the water park, which features a variety of slides and attractions perfect for visitors of all ages. 

WATER SLIDES IN Chula Vista Resort Waterparks

Water slides of the Chula Vista Resort will give you the adrenaline rush you came for. Try the Adventure Lagoon, a  120.000-square-foot megaplex that consists of the Durango Drop and the Rattlesnake Run, suitable for middle and older children.

The extreme slides section consists of 4 intense rides for middle to older children, including the Howlin’ Tornado or the Red Rock Racers. 

Smaller children can enjoy a play area with small water slides, a huge dump bucket and geysers galore, as well as a Wave Pool and a Kiddie River.

For athletic waterpark-goers, there is a Sport Pool, where you can play water sports, such as polo, water volleyball and water basketball. 

THINGS TO DO IN Chula Vista Resort Waterparks

Apart from the water slides, there  are other activities available on-site at an extra charge. 

You can put your golf skills to the test with the  Superstition Spring Mini Golf,  take a leap of faith at the Ultimate Rush Thrill Ride or enjoy Wisconsin Dells’ first outdoor aerial park, the Dells Zipline Adventures.

Things to know before going to Chula Vista Resort Waterparks

Chula Vista Resort offers a variety of luxurious guest rooms, villas, suites, or condominiums overlooking the Wisconsin River.

Private cabanas available for rent are perfect for a relaxing break from all the fun at the water park. Each cabana includes comfortable furniture, loungers, towels, TV, iPod docking station, refrigerator, and a personal attendant.

Even though water park passes are included in all overnight stays at the resort, there is also a limited amount of single-day passes available for sale. Just make sure to contact the resort and check the availability of passes for a specific day. Children ages 2 or younger can use the water park facilities free of charge.

2. Noah's Ark Water Park (Wisconsin Dells)

America’s Largest Waterpark includes a vast array of water slides and rides of different intensities suitable for visitors of all ages. We assure you that this water park will leave you with memorable moments of family fun.

This water park includes 3 categories of attractions according to the level of intensity: 

  • 12 mild;
  • 7 moderate;
  • 6 intense attractions.

There are 16 attractions for all ages, 6 for kids and families and 3 for teenagers and adults. 
The family attractions include kiddie pools, splash areas, 4-person rafts, play area with slides and fountains.
For adults, there is a vertical loop slide, double water slide, water coaster and behemoth bowl ride. 

THINGS TO DO IN Noah's Ark Water Park

Apart from the waterpark attractions, Noah’s Arc includes a 4-D Theater and a Safari Adventure Mini Golf as well.

The former will let you enjoy your favorite movies as if you were one of the characters, whereas with the latter you can test your golf skills and precision.

Things to know before going to Noah's Ark Water Park

There are private cabanas of different sizes available for rent. Depending on how numerous your group is, there are several packages you can choose from. The cabanas are all shaded and feature loungers, towels and water bottles, whereas more expensive options offer more amenities.

The water park doesn’t count with on-site accommodation, but if you book a room in one of the hotels they are partnered with, you get free tickets for Noah’s Ark Waterpark.

3. Mt. Olympus Outdoor Water Park (Wisconsin Dells)

The Mt. Olympus Resort features both indoor and outdoor water and theme parks! A family fun oasis with a huge offer of attractions for visitors of all ages. if you think that one day won’t suffice to try all the attractions, don’t worry. The outdoor water park area doesn’t abound with slides, but there are 2 multi-person raft slides, as well as a side-by-side racing slide

Your children can have plenty of fun at the Lost City of Atlantis, a six stories water fortress with 7 different slides and a giant dumping bucket. 

In 2022, this water park will get an incredible expansion, including America’s first rotating slide.

When it comes to milder attractions, Mt. Olympus includes a lazy river, wave pools and a huge swimming pool area with beaches, geysers, splash pads and waterfalls.


THINGS TO DO IN Mt. Olympus Outdoor Water Park

Apart from the outdoor one, Mt. Olympus features an indoor water park as well. Indoor you can also enjoy a variety of slides and pools, as well as a lazy river meandering around the property. 

The on-site indoor and outdoor theme parks will make you want to stay longer at Mt. Olympus. One day definitely isn’t enough time to try all the attractions it includes. However, we do recommend all the rides and roller coasters, as well as arcades, go karts, and rock climbing.

This water park features  high-speed and tandem-tube slides, as well as flume rides and thrill rides. 

A unique attraction of the Zambezi Waterpark is definitely Extreme Rush, which includes the only slalom waterslides in Wisconsin Dells.

Things to know before going to Zambezi Outdoor Waterpark

If you’re not a guest of the resort, you can purchase day passes online. You can choose between buying a Theme & Water Park Combo Pass, an Evening, or All Day Waterpark Pass.  


This 70,000 square feet waterpark is perfect for visitors of all ages, especially families with young children. Whether you’d like to relax or enjoy the thrill, New Frontier offers both with its pool areas, loungers and towering slides. Try to catch them all!


The water slide offer of the New Frontier Waterpark includes a 40-foot high tower with 2 tube slides and an open-flume ride. 

Younger visitors of the park have so many options to choose from, including play areas with sprayers, geysers and small slides, as well as short body slides, suitable for their age. 

In addition, there is a pool and a relaxing 600-foot lazy river meandering through the New Frontier Waterpark. 


If you get tired of all the noise and commotion of the kids, visit Margarita’s Outdoor Swim-Up Bar, an adults-only outdoor pool with a bar for up to 88 guests. The solution to your problems is one relaxing cocktail away!

However, when hunger kicks in, visit the nearby Survivor’s Bar & Grill overlooking the Wild WaterDome. It is also a perfect spot to follow your favorite sports teams, with 9 TVs located in this indoor sit-down bar. 

Things to know before going to NEW FRONTIER WATERPARK

Use of the parks is reserved exclusively  for guests who booked an overnight stay at the resort so make sure to book your room in one of the following accommodations: Wilderness Hotel, Glacier Canyon Lodge, Wilderness on the Lake, Villas, Condos & Cabins.

At the New Frontier Waterpark you can book The Eagles Nest, a huge private cabana with a capacity to accommodate up to 20 people. With this unique setting, 10 feet above the pool decks, enjoy VIP service included in this offer.


Enjoy the dreamy atmosphere of this 40,000 square feet waterpark and its signature feature, a “lazy lake” with a lounging island in the middle. Apart from slides and pools, this waterpark features water basketball and volleyball pools, as well as a lily pad obstacle walk. If you’re up for a challenge, there is no place better than Lake Wilderness! 


The Lake Wilderness Waterpark features a threefold offer of water slides, activities and relaxation. 

Visitors can choose between a tube slide with twists and turns and a 220-foot body speed-slide. There are also the Lil’ Chutes Banana Slides, two body slides for the younger ones. 

In the activities section, we find a lap pool & water basketball, a volleyball pool and a lazy lake with play activities. Additionally, there is a children’s wading pool with hands-on water activities, as well as a  lily pad obstacle walk.

Relaxation is an important part of the the Lake Wilderness. Recover from a busy day at the built-in lounging ridge of the Island Pool or go to the hot spas,  where only children over the age of six are allowed. Taking a break is always a good idea!


Dining options in the Lake Wilderness Waterpark include the Mackinac Tap & Snack Shack and Midway Macs Outdoor Grill. While both offer delicious food and snacks, the former specializes in finger foods, salads, pizzas and frozen drinks, while at the latter you can find burgers, brats and other.

Things to know before going to LAKE WILDERNESS WATERPARK

Sit back and enjoy a moment of rest at these poolside cabanas of the Lake Wilderness Waterpark. Fun can be tiring, and what’s better than sipping a cocktail while your recover in your own private seating area. There are only 9 private poolside cabanas available, so make sure to book yours on time! 

Accommodation is not only available at the Wilderness Resort, but it is a prerequisite for visiting all the water parks and attractions. Use of the parks is reserved for guests only, so make sure to book your room in one of the following accommodation options available at the resort: Wilderness Hotel, Glacier Canyon Lodge, Wilderness on the Lake, Villas, Condos & Cabins.

7. Lost World Waterpark (Wisconsin Dells)

Located at Glacier Canyon Lodge, the Lost World Water park is the largest waterpark of Wilderness Resorts! This enormous 3.2 acres water playground offers the most extreme water slides you can find at this property. For the old and the young, there will be plenty of fun for everyone! 


Only at the Lost World Waterpark you can find two 5-story tall slides, which both feature a launch capsule with a trap door. The Lunar Loop and The Cosmic Drop Thrill Slides are reserved for the bravest visitors of them all! 

There is also an enclosed flume which transforms into four open racing lanes. Perfect for a family competition, Halley’s Comet Racers definitely deliver maximum thrills.

For kids, this water park features the Dino Mania, with a lily pad water walk, water basketball, and sport slides. Younger visitors can also make use of a dinosaur-themed water playground with a tipping bucket and sprayers. Fun is guaranteed no matter the age!

You can also enjoy an interactive lazy river, an island pool for lounging and three outdoor hot spas. Relaxation is a must, even if it is only for half an hour.
