Several daily pass options are available for purchase for Adventure Landing and Shipwreck Island Water Park, with free admission for children ages 3 and under for the water park.

3. LEGOLAND® Florida Water Park (Winter Haven)

Winter Haven, located a 1hr ride from Tampa, is home to the incredible LEGOLAND® Florida Amusement and Water Park! Get ready for a colorful and fun environment filled with water attractions for the whole family. The best thing about this park is that the fun can last for days if you decide to stay at one of the on-site hotels! 


This seasonal water park, part of the LEGOLAND Resort features colorful and LEGO-themed water attractions for kids!

5. Highland Family Aquatic Center (Largo)

This family-friendly Largo water park provides a variety of activities for visitors of all ages. Stop by the park and enjoy the slides, snack bars, shade areas, and sports activities which will make your family’s fun day worth a while!

Highland Family Aquatic Center offers a snack bar to make up for outside food and drinks not being allowed on the property, except during parties with rental contracts.

6. Weeki Wachee Springs State Park (Spring Hill)

Height requirements for the Aqua Park state that participants must be at least 7 years old and 45” tall to use the structure. If your kids don’t reach these, it would be better to choose another water park in the area.  



8. Walter Fuller Recreation Center ( St. Petersburg)

Since the Walter Fuller Park offers a variety of other activities, its’ water park is perfect for those who are looking for a slight refreshment and not a full day of thrills and chills. 

This outdoor water park in Tampa features two enclosed water slides which take you directly into the centerpiece of the property, a large lap pool with lanes for lap swimming.

Not much, but definitely, more than enough to keep your kids entertained for a short while!
