1. Aquatica Orlando (Orlando)

Aquatica  is known for having the most slides out of any outdoor water park in Orlando! However, its offer extends to relaxing lazy rivers, cabanas, and an incredible attraction that allows you to see animals up close. Trust us, you don’t want to miss it!

Kids can enjoy family raft slides, such as Ray Rush, or Kata’s Kookaburra Cove and Walkabout Waters, water play areas with beginner’s body slides, water spouts, and pools. 

For a more relaxing family time, you can take your kids to a sandy beach to play and enjoy the sun.

2. Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park (Orlando)

Do you miss winter during summer? If your answer is yes, Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park is a perfect mix of summer activities and a winter setting. Part of the Walt Disney World Resort Blizzard Beach is one of the best outdoor water parks in Orlando, this splendid water park will make you want to stay there forever!

At this Disney water park with a total of 6 water slides, visitors have the chance to feel the rush on one of the tallest and fastest free-fall body slides in the world, the Summit Plummet.

At Blizzard Beach, your family can enjoy attractions such as Tike’s Peak, a polar-themed play area with slides and aquatic activities, and Teamboat Springs,  a whitewater raft slide for up to 6 people.

Tired of the scorching sun and adrenaline rush? Relax and unwind in the privacy and comfort of a shaded deck with Polar Patios and Lodge Umbrellas. There are different options you can choose from, so we recommend doing it wisely!

Available at an additional charge, these two 18-hole adventures at the Winter Summerland Miniature Golf will entertain your entire family. Playing mini-golf in a winter setting has never felt so good!

Things to know before going to Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park

At Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park you won’t have to worry about food! Avalunch, Lottawatta Lodge, and Polar Pub are the places where you can indulge in hot dogs, nachos, cheeseburgers, draft beer, and cocktails. 

There is also a mobile food and beverage ordering service available at the facility.
You only have to install the My Disney Experience app before you arrive, and you can start using the service right away.

If you add the Water Park and Sports Option to your theme park tickets, you will get one admission to select Walt Disney World experiences per each day of your ticket.

A large number of Disney hotels are available at the resort, which offers amazing benefits to their guests. Namely, Disney Resort hotel guests get extra time to play every day with Early Theme Park Entry or Extended Evening Theme Park Hours. Make sure to book yours and don’t miss out on all the fun!

3. Universal’s Volcano Bay Water Theme Park (Orlando)

Located at the Universal Orlando Resort, this water theme park offers an incredible variety of family-friendly attractions for visitors of all ages! From thrill rides to lazy rivers, you can rest assured that there’s everything you need for an unforgettable experience!

The variety of Volcano Bay’s attractions reflects most in the amazing thrill slides. With most of them having a minimum height of only 48 inches, only really young kids will not be able to enjoy all the attractions at the park.

The slides differ in type and number of participants, with single or multi-person slides, such as Kala & Tai Nui Serpentine Body Slides and Krakatau Aqua Coaster, being some of the stars of the offer. 

If your kids do not reach the minimum height of some water slides, they still can have a lot of fun!

They can choose between the Runamukka Reef, Puka Uli Lagoon, and Tot Tiki Reef. All of them are either kids’ pools with splash pads or water playgrounds with spraying jets, geysers, and slides


THINGS TO DO IN Universal’s Volcano Bay Water Theme Park

Who said Volcano Bay was all about thrilling slides?

Let’s agree that queuing is the worst part of a water park experience, but an Express Pass addition to your ticket will save you some precious time and allow you to skip the virtual lines at all the rides and attractions.

4. Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park (ORlando)

Disney’s magic resort features another amazing water park, perfect for a day of family fun! Visit the Typhoon Lagoon to plummet down the water slides, catch some waves or relax in a lounger. Fun is guaranteed no matter which option you choose!

A total of 8 water slides with or without height requirements is available at the Typhoon Lagoon. Try body slides, like Humunga Kowabunga, or take your family members with you on a raft ride for 2 at the Crush ‘n’ Gusher. 

For families with smaller kids, we recommend a lazy river, a wave pool, or Ketchakiddee Creek,  a large water playground with slides, water cannons, and much more.

THINGS TO DO IN Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park

Typhoon Lagoon Water Park is home to North America’s largest outdoor wave pool, where you can try how well you can surf. 

Don’t be discouraged if you’ve never tried it before! You can book surfing lessons, which are available for all guests age 8 and older. 

At certain periods, special events take place at the Typhoon Lagoon. Make sure to check their website if there is a party going on during your visit!

There are different small restaurants and bars available at the property. Most of them serve American cuisine, which means you can enjoy burgers, hot dogs, sandwiches, and all sorts of beverages!

Things to know before going to Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park

Enjoy Beachcomber Shacks & Getaway Glen Umbrellas, private shaded areas with chairs and loungers.  Both of these options are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Beachcomber Shack guests have attendants on hand to take their food orders (separate dining charges apply).

5. Island H2O Live! Water Park (Kissimmee)

A recent addition to the roster of outdoor water parks in Orlando, the Island H2O Live! features may be the most versatile offer of attractions for visitors of all ages! At this water park, you can expect both fun and relaxation, whichever suits you best.

With a total of 9 water slides, this park features a variety of tube and body slides, such as Live Streaming and Profile Plunge. There is also The Downloader, an audio tube slide, and Reply Racers, a 6-lane racer slide.

If you get tired of the thrill slides, we encourage you to try Level Up, a sports zone pool, or other family attractions, which include youth splash areas, lazy rivers, and lagoons.

Since we all know kids can get a bit loud, this water park offers an adult pool as well, where you can find your peace even if it’s only for a short time. 

THINGS TO DO IN Island H2O Live! Water Park

On-site you can get some food at Apps & Eats or Megabytes, while for drinks we recommend Tag Shack

Don’t worry, whether you’re following a healthier diet or you like to indulge in fast food, you will find something for yourself!

You can also visit the park’s shop to buy some souvenirs, sunscreen, towels, or other necessities for a day at the water park.  

Things to know before going to Island H2O Live! Water Park

Island H2O Live! features four luxury cabana options: Standard, Cabana Suite, Adult, and Ultimate.

Bookings are made online only until midnight prior to the date of your visit. If there are some cabanas left, you can book them on the spot too, but there’s no guarantee. 

It’s important to check the calendar on their official website since operating dates and times are subject to change without notice. 

If extreme weather conditions force the water park to close for a continuous 2 hours,  you will get a Sunshine Ticket for a return visit during the same operating season.

6. Treasure Cove Water Park (Orlando)

Part of the Westgate Lakes Resort, this outdoor water park in Orlando boasts a pirate-theme water park that will provide you with everything you need for a lovely day spent with your family. This cute and simple water park includes a few attractions, but it is definitely worth a visit!

This Orlando pirate-themed water park features the Dolphin Drop & Pirate’s Plunge,  dual 30 foot water slides with high-speed turns and drop. 

Attractions suitable for families with smaller kids include an epic 41,000-gallon wave pool, a lazy river, and the Little Parrots Splash Zone with 3 slides, and an aquatic jungle gym. There’s fun for everyone!


THINGS TO DO IN Treasure Cove Water Park

If you’re looking for another family-friendly activity at this resort, there is a Pirates Mini Golf  18-hole course near the Marina.

For guests of the resort, this activity is complimentary, whereas others must pay an additional fee. 

For drinks, you can visit the Rikki Tikki Tavern and enjoy the refreshing signature drinks of Treasure Cove. If you get hungry, there is the Buccaneer Galley Snack Bar with American classics, such as hot dogs, cheeseburgers, fish & chips, and more.

Things to know before going to Treasure Cove Water Park

When it comes to accommodation, Westgate Lakes Resort & Spa offers a variety of options, ranging from studios to spacious four-bedroom villas

With Splash & Stay you get two free tickets for the water park if you book accommodation for two nights or more!

Generally, admission to Treasure Cove Water Park is not included with the reservation or room rate for most guests. A separate ticket must be purchased for entry at the resort.

Children under 3 can stay at the water park for free always. 

If the sun is making you tired, book a luxurious private cabana and enjoy some relaxation in the shade. All cabanas include a personal server to provide you with food and beverage. 

7. CoCo Key Water Park (Orlando)

Located in the Heart of I-Drive Orlando, CoCoKey Water Resort boasts accommodation, a water park, dining, and an arcade for families. At this 54,000 sq. ft canopy-covered water park, your kids can find a variety of slides and rides perfect for a full-day adventure!



With a total of 14 slides and rides, this water park is perfect for a family adventure. Adult thrill-seekers may not find this water park especially interesting, but kids will definitely enjoy it. 

The central attraction of the CoCo Key is a giant aquatic playground with sprayers, a tower with two slides, and a bucket of water. 

THINGS TO DO IN CoCo Key Water Park

At the CoCo Key resort, your family can have fun at a 6,500 sq. ft arcade with games and machines for all ages. 

 If you get hungry after all the fun you’ve had, don’t worry! The water park features two on-site restaurants and a tiki bar, perfect for a couple of relaxing drinks while you wait for your kids to get tired of the slides. 

Things to know before going to CoCo Key Water Park

Accommodation is available at the CoCo Key Resort and each guestroom booked includes 4 tickets to the Water Park.  

It is required that you purchase your Water Park Pass in advance and prior to your arrival at the Resort.

Children under 36 inches tall are complimentary and they can stay at a special lagoon perfect for little swimmers. 

You can make your experience at CoCo Key even better by booking a Cabana. Each cabana includes a seating area for 4, 2 loungers, and a family meal deal, which consists of a large pizza, 2-liter beverage & 10 wings.

This giant inflatable aquatic playground, with 3 skill levels and 40 features, includes different attractions for both kids and adults. 

There are different climbing areas, dive boards, water slides, and all kinds of obstacles that will make you even more aware of your skill and fitness.

Things to know before going to ORLANDO WATERSPORTS COMPLEX

Taking place from Monday to Friday, the summer camp is reserved for children ages 7-15. It consists of daily lunch, basic gear for activities such as cable, boat, field games, and aquapark. At the camp, your kids are taught everything from basic fundamentals to more advanced tricks, depending on their own progress.

At this water park, you can also organize a group event or even a birthday party for you or your child. There’s doubt it will be a day you’ll never forget!


Another water park in Orlando that is half playground half water that is ideal for your family vacation. Nona Adventure Park is one of the best outdoor water parks in Orlando, it offers a variety of activities that will make happy even the most demanding people. Not only is this water park a lot of fun, but you will also challenge your fitness in different ways, so make sure to come prepared for a workout!


This giant water playground and obstacle course includes different attractions for both kids and adults. 

Find out if you can conquer the two Mt. Rainiers, Whirlpool, Ninja Jump, Tire Run, and many other exciting and challenging obstacles!


Riders of all levels are encouraged to try the cable system of the Nona Wake. Two tracks, which can run up to 10 riders at a time, are perfect for skiers, wakeboarders, kneeboarders, beginners, or pros!

Enjoy dining at the Splashes Bistro overlooking the incredible sunset views of the lake. With gourmet pizzas, chicken wings, and specialty drinks, we’re sure you will recover all the energy lost while having fun!

Different tickets are available on the park’s official website. Some include only 50 min sessions at the Aqua Park, unlimited use of the aqua park, or even all the activities available at Nona Adventure Park.

The Aqua Park is open on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 12 pm to 4:50 pm.

The minimum age is 5 years old, but children from 5 to 8 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
