Cedar Point Shores abounds with thrilling water and tube slides, among which we recommend the Starboard Surge and Portside Plunge, tube slides that end in a splash pool.
You don’t want to miss the Storm Surge, a 76-foot-tall family raft ride, and the Point Plummet, a tall slide tower with four enclosed speed slides. Adrenaline junkies, Cedars Point Shores awaits!
The little ones will also have some fun at Cedar Point. There is a kiddie pool designed specifically for them, as well as a kid-friendly playground structure with a tire swing, slides, gadgets, geysers, and spray jets. enough to keep your kids entertained for hours.
Also, other attractions of the Cedar Point Shores include a lazy river, a large half-million-gallon wave pool, and an action river. Not so thrilling like the slides, but still these attractions offer you a fair share of fun!
Next to the Cedar Point Shores, you can find an Amusement Park with rollercoasters, family attractions, a multi-level ropes course, a sky ride, and more!
There are also several live shows and special events with DJs, fire pits, and competitions under the moonlight that will give you a one-of-a-kind experience at the park.
Moreover, you can enjoy the proximity to Lake Erie by renting a kayak, a jet ski, or a paddleboard, and enjoy the breathtaking landscape it offers. For those who are comfortable with heights, parasailing is an excellent option too, just sit back and take a bird’s-eye view of the parks at Cedar Point.

Who said water parks have to be a full day of hustle? With private cabanas available on-site, you can get some rest amid all this frenzy. There are 4 types of cabanas to choose from – standard, bronze, silver, and gold – which differ by their amenities and capacity. When it comes to the best family water parks, we would recommend the Cedar Point Shores Waterpark, the Sunlite Water Adventure, The Beach Waterpark. These water parks all have a fair share of water slides and family attractions, but we think they are more kid-friendly than others. Their attractions are extremely versatile and visitors of all ages will find something to keep them amused, which is the most important thing of all!
Before going to a waterpark of your choice, always check the amenities it includes, and its operating hours since the latter can be subject to change very often. Also, explore the ticket options and find out if there's an add-on you can purchase to skip the lines and save some precious time. Do not forget that most parks do not allow you to bring your own food, so if you're coming with a whole village, maybe it would be useful to inform yourself on that matter.
For adults, we don't have one but two best parks, the Soak City Water Park and the Zoombezi Bay. What makes them special is that both have more than 15 thrill slides, which is more than enough to keep adults entertained too. However, if you choose one of these two parks, do not worry about your kids not having fun as they expect. These parks count with other family and kid-friendly attractions for hours and hours of entertainment!
