Wilderness at the Smokies (sevierville)

This resort prides itself on having the largest indoor water park around! It boasts 3 water parks. Lake Wilderness and Salamander Springs are outdoors, while Wild Waterdome is entirely inside.

Things to know before going to Wilderness

You don’t have to be staying at the resort to enjoy the park. Day and week passes are available for non-resort guests, although they are subject to availability.

The Resort at Governor’s Crossing (sevierville)

This location features both indoor and outdoor water attractions and is reserved for resort guests only. Treat yourself to a vacation and stay a while!

The indoor water park is lots of fun for small ones. With a fun slide and constant water jets, the kids will have a great time.

No trip to the indoor waterpark is complete without speed slides, there’s a yellow and a red one. 

The Zero-entry swimming pool gradually slopes from the deck into the water, becoming deeper with each step like a beach making it easy to enjoy the Water Umbrella and water toys in this kiddie pool.

The water park also has a 20 people hot tub, a large pool with swim jets, and water basketball.

The resort has a Firefly Cove—a family park area featuring fire pits, picnic grounds with 10 tables and 5 charcoal grills, a hammock park, and a kids’ playground.

KROC Center (memphis)

This local community center has a ton to offer for the whole family. This is a members-only facility, but members are allowed to bring guests!

This water park is a little different from the others. The Kroc Center is perfect if you’re looking for fitness, fun, and therapy. They offer an aquatics program and drop-in classes where you or the kids can learn a new skill, make friends or improve fitness.

In addition to the recreation pool and lap pool, the aquatic facility offers a fun water play area with a water slide for the whole family that encourages multi-generational interaction.

The recreation pool is a zero depth entry pool and children will enjoy attractions such as the Jumbo Shrimp slide, Splashpads, and vertical sprays in designated areas.  The lap pool is used for water skills classes,  swim class, aqua aerobics classes and more. The recreation pool also offers a family water slide with a catch pool.
